R4-Elita

During the Battle of Coruscant towards the end of the Clone Wars, Irvine is sent up to aid the Republic forces in the space dogfight that was taking place high above the planet, in his ARC 170 Starfighter.

Elsewhere during the Battle, Obi Wan Kenobi's Astromech Droid, R4-P17's head is sawed off by vicious Buzz Droids, sending poor R4's dome flying through space.

R4's Dome is caught in the X-foils of Irvine's ARC 170, until Irvine is called back down to Coruscant, hearing that the ground forces are being overwhelmed.

After the battle, he discovers R4's semi-functional Dome, and decides to make it a hobby of his to rebuild her.
He does just this, on his free time, slowly gathering bits and pieces needed to construct a full astromech body, and went on to install various gadgets, tools, and even weaponry and a Protocol Droid Voice card into her, trying to make her a "Military-Grade" Astromech. This was the end result. Despite her new haphazard and mismatched appearance, R4 was now a true fighting machine. He christened her new body: "An Astromech Elite".

In the end, he nicknamed her "Elita" based on his newly made droid's new classification.

She continues to aid Irvine in his vendetta against the Empire, and also helps the Rebel Alliance.

It's thanks to R4 that Irvine and what remains of the
417th Clone Trooper Legion were able to join up with the Rebel Alliance, over 750 Clones along with key Kaminoan Cloners.

She was able to hack Kamino's Imperial computers and trick the Imperial Star Destroyers above in space to let a convoy of Clone Assault Ships and Rebel Alliance Crafts to escape Kamino.
